Having a National Day of Prayer last week was exceedingly enjoyable, and very well taken, except the coverage disappointed, and could have stressed it more seriously, given the need we face today. But it served us well and it brought to mind the significance of prayer, and fortunately, for some who do not yet understand it.
But for them that truly do, every day is a day for prayer.
Today, I'll share my morning's prayer with you. I hope you like it.
Actually I sang it, that's the way it came out, complete with a gorgeous melody and with chorals that I know can only be straight from GOD. But at least, I can share the words with you, expeditiously. And we know how much words really count. For if it were not for Words, could we know our GOD? And if not for the Truth, could we know which words are True? For there are many words and many that speak them. A rose is a rose, is a rose.
The psalm came after I pondered the question of innocence, and the faithfulness and the true sincerity of some, and quickly I was Given the Answer: Jesus Does It by our works, by the fruits of our labor; and thus, so do I.
."Our FATHER,
Thank You For Coming."Slowly, with feeling:
