The American Revolution was against the colonial rule of Great Britain. The American colonies revolted and declared their independence. The British government sent troops to put down the rebellion and the Revolutionary War ensued, resulting in American independence.The Declaration of Independence was written in the summer of 1776 primarily by Thomas Jefferson, agreed upon on July 2 by the Second Continental Congress, sent to the printer on July 4, and all signatures were collected in the following weeks.

With obvious political prowess gleaned from their opposition to their perceived faults of the British Monarchy of King George III, which included taxation without representation, as well as limits on freedoms, etc... even citing the grievances toward the king in the Declaration of Independence; ........ besides which, their remarkable faith and forthcoming God Given perception for, and in the participation of the creation of a nation: under God...
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
These above mentioned truths were begun fulfilled by President Abraham Lincoln in his October 1854 Peoria speech:
"Nearly eighty years ago we began by declaring that all men are created equal; but now from that beginning we have run down to the other declaration, that for some men to enslave others is a "sacred right of self-government". ... Our republican robe is soiled and trailed in the dust. ... Let us repurify it. Let us re-adopt the Declaration of Independence, and with it, the practices, and policy, which harmonize with it. ... If we do this, we shall not only have saved the Union: but we shall have saved it, as to make, and keep it, forever worthy of the saving."

The Civil war broke out in April 1861 shortly after Abraham Lincoln had been inaugurated as the President of the United States. The loyalists of the Union in the North proclaimed support and victory for the Constitution and anti-slavery.The United States Constitution was written in 1787 during the Philadelphia Convention. The old Congress set the rules the new government followed, in terms of writing and ratifying the new Constitution. After ratification in eleven states, in 1789 its elected officers of government assembled in New York City, replacing the Articles of Confederation government.
Lincoln's view of the Declaration of Independence became influential, seeing it as a moral guide to interpreting the United States Constitution. In his 1863 Gettysburg Address: he declared, "Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal."
Indeed it is a moral guide citing the Creator and that which He Endows.
In the signers' above mentioned perception of 'the creation of a nation under God The Creator', there undoubtedly ensued the God Given Creative process, by which this nation was Created.

'Anti-Constitutional' Divided Politics
The Founders at Philadelphia had not envisioned the existence of permanent political parties. Organized opposition to the government - especially a democratic government based on popular consent - seemed tainted with disloyalty. Opposition to the government affronted the spirit of national unity that the glorious cause of the Revolution had inspired. The notion of a formal party apparatus was thus a novelty in the 1790s.George Washington warned the country against "factions" or political parties, because he said they would divide the nation. National political parties, in the modern sense, were unknown in America when George Washington took his inaugural oath. There had been Whigs and Tories, federalists and antifederalists, but these groups were factions rather than parties. They had sprung into existence over hotly contested special issues; they had faded away when their cause had triumphed or fizzled.
This nation, Created by God, built on moral principles, through divided parties is becoming:

The 2 parties, so divided, so competively engaged, creating chaos and division in the 'United ' States of America; on the brink of 'God Knows What' in the Democrat party's continued emergence of 'Socialism' which is alien and contrary to all that the nation is built on and stands for: In other words 'It doesn't belong here.'
